1 cup of hot milk (or a dairy-free alternative)

2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder

1-2 tablespoons of Essential elements® Collagen Peptides

1-2 tablespoons of sweetener (e.g., honey, maple syrup, or stevia)

A pinch of salt

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)


In a small saucepan, heat milk over medium-low heat, but do not bring it to a boil. In a separate bowl, mix the cocoa powder, collagen peptides, sweetener, and salt.
