Whip This Vanilla Protein Cake in Just Minutes
Looking for a dessert that you can feel good about? How about something with protein that you can throw together quickly whenever the craving for something sweet hits? Rather than reach for something high in sugar and devoid of nutrients, you can have the best of both worlds. Just sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, and with all the essential amino acids, you can have your protein-packed cake and eat it too. Top it off with a keto-friendly whipped cream frosting, add some sliced strawberries, or just eat it as-is for a fulfilling treat that hits the spot every time.
3 tablespoons applesauce
2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
3 tablespoons 2% milk
1/2 teaspoon organic vanilla extract
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons pancake mix (plain, dry mix, incomplete)
Blend all ingredients together in a blender (except for the flour, pancake mix, and protein powder) until well mixed. Add the flour, pancake mix, and Very Vanilla Protein Protein powder into the blender and mix together. Add the mixture into a non-stick bowl and microwave for 2 minutes (if it's still “wet” looking at the top, microwave for an additional 10 seconds at a time). Add desired toppings, and enjoy!
